RFID Canada Introduces EM Microelectronic’s Dual Frequency RFID chip at the Canadian Sponsorship Forum Experience
WonderMakr and RFID Canada partner to provide event solutions using dual-frequency em|echo RAIN + NFC tags for event access, convenience and security
TORONTO – August 22nd, 2017 – In March of 2017, wonderMakr enabled the Canadian Sponsorship Forum Experience (CSFX) by providing a data collection and a personalized ticketing experience. CSFX represents the largest gathering of Canada’s top decision-makers, leaders, executives, and buying power in the sponsorship industry, exploring new marketing trends.
Using EM Microelectronic™s em|echo dual-frequency RAIN+NFC tag IC, wonderMakr created a passive data collection and welcome app providing personalized greetings for attendees as they enter conference rooms and tracking attendance numbers for overall conference metrics. The NFC technology was used at the event for the post-conference refreshments, providing a ticketing solution where users could indulge and let loose without affecting their pocket-books. This created a great networking opportunity without the financial boundary, while tracking final drink quantities for easy billing with the hosting establishments.
WonderMakr embedded the dual-frequency tag into a sleek, modern badge and lanyard – something CSFX attendees would expect from the event coordinators – making the tag completely unnoticeable so that the “magic” of RFID could be revealed to them as experiences required it in its intended forms.
RFID technology really gave the event a technological edge that is seldom seen in the ‘Sponsorship/Events Marketing’ industry. Attendees and the CSFX client were amazed by the seamlessness and ease of use and loved to the extended capabilities of their badge. So much so, they wish to expand for the RFID capabilities for next year’s conference!
